Because relaxation isn’t enough, this is the ultimate body and mind reboot.

Looking for more than your typical massage? Our Ayurvedic Massage offers an experience that does more than just relax you, it transforms you. This isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s the treatment your body has been begging for without you even realising it.

Why Is This So Special?

Marma-point therapy taps into the ancient art of targeting up to 107 energy points, points that control everything from healing to hormone balance. What does that mean for you? Imagine a system reboot, better digestion, clearer thinking, and a surge of energy you didn’t know you had. This is about more than feeling good for an hour, it’s about tuning your body to work at its very best long after the massage is over.

Forget pampering, this is precision self-care at its finest, like a mix of massage, aromatherapy, and acupressure all rolled into one.

Ayurvedic Restorative Yoga Massage:

A Powerful Fusion of Traditional Healing and Therapeutic Yoga

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage offers the full spectrum of benefits from traditional Ayurvedic massage, enhanced with unique therapeutic techniques to address the body’s deeper needs. This treatment is specially designed to not only relax but invigorate and heal, utilising a unique ingredient, Calamus Powder. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties and exfoliating effects, calamus allows us to warm muscles and stimulate circulation within seconds, cutting down the typical time required for warming up from 5-10 minutes to just moments.

This massage method integrates breathwork, circulation, and vital energy to engage deeply with the fascia and connective tissues. After gently warming the muscles, we use assisted therapeutic yoga stretches to increase mobility, expand range of motion, and create long-lasting improvements in flexibility and posture. These stretches help open up parts of the body, relieving tension, enhancing circulation, supports the breaking down subcutaneous fat and cellulite, and revitalises the entire system.

A Holistic Approach to Healing and Movement

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is performed on the floor, allowing for optimal movement and deep connection to the body. It can be delivered in the comfort of your own home or in a professional massage room, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. The treatment includes a variety of techniques, including walking on specific parts of the body to release tension and promote deep healing.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage vs. Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage

While both forms of Ayurvedic massage offer incredible benefits, they cater to different needs. Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage is the ultimate indulgence in relaxation, featuring gentle strokes and nourishing oils combined with marma point therapy to restore balance and promote tranquillity.

On the other hand, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is both relaxing and invigorating, focusing on the breath, circulation, and deep tissue work. It goes beyond relaxation, targeting the muscles, fascia, joints, and skeletal system to increase mobility and relieve tension. The combination of massage and therapeutic yoga stretches allows for deeper access to the tissues, leaving you feeling incredibly relaxed yet ready for the world.

What is so special about Ayurvedic Massage?

Ayurvedic Massage and Marma-Point Therapy is far far more than just a massage, it is a unique blend semi-deep tissue work, aromatic healing, relaxation, and pressure point techniques, tailored specifically to your physical, physiological, and psychological needs, all rolled in to one traditional time honoured treatment, offering a multifaceted approach to wellness and healing, and the mother of all luxurious massages your body deserves.

Ayurveda recognises each person as unique, requiring tailored treatments based on their individual constitution. This constitution, known as 'Prakriti', is defined by the balance of the three Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, which dictate one's physical, physiological, and psychological traits.

The Cure House first-timers we will begin with a short consultation, during this time we will identify your Prakriti, along with any imbalances you may be experiencing. This is a wonderful experience of discovery and will enable us to tailor the experience specific to your needs, moving away from the more generic experience you might be used to.

Ayurvedic Massage is a full body massage, every part of your body from the hair on your head to the tips of yours toes is given complete attention and devotion (except privates areas, the patients dignity is preserved at all times).

Our full-body massage (spanning two hours), each section of the body receives thorough attention and care, guaranteeing a deeply satisfying and effective treatment.

Post-treatment, clients often report a dichotomy of deep relaxation and renewed energy, offering a rare and refreshing contrast to the hustle of modern life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How should I prepare for my treatment?

For your massage appointment, it's best to arrive about 10 minutes early to settle in and relax. It is best to shower or bath before your treatment if possible and since your treatment involves special oils, it's advisable to avoid wearing strong fragrances, like perfume or heavily scented lotions, which could affect the treatment's efficacy.

Question: Can I eat before treatment?

To optimise the effects of your massage, it's recommended to avoid eating heavy meals before your session. If you're feeling very hungry, a light snack is preferable to ensure you're comfortable and not distracted by hunger during the treatment.

Question: What should I wear for the treatment?

For your massage, wear loose fitting comfortable clothes. As it's advised to let the Ayurvedic oils remain on your skin post-treatment, avoid wearing expensive clothes that might get oil stains.

Question: Do I need to bring anything to the treatment?

All you need to bring is an open mind to fully embrace the relaxing and nurturing experience of Ayurvedic therapy. Your Massage Therapist will guide you through a blissful journey, so simply come prepared to relax and enjoy the treatment.

Question: What are the benefits of massage therapy?
Oh boy, You asked for this and is our pleasure to give you a full and complete answer to what and how the massage will benefit you according to Ayurveda...

1. Improves old age:

Ayurvedic massage is believed to counteract aging by nourishing the body's seven tissues: plasma (Rasa), blood (Rakta), muscle (Mamsa), fat (Medas), bone (Asthi), marrow (Majja), and reproductive tissue (Shukra). This holistic approach rejuvenates the body at a cellular level.

2. Reduces fatigue:

Fatigue, whether from physical or mental strain, can result from overexerting specific muscles or engaging in unfamiliar activities. The type of massage recommended varies based on the nature of the fatigue experienced, ensuring a tailored approach to rejuvenate and restore energy.

3. Takes away excess wind:

Reduces excess Vata, by addressing excess Vata, Ayurvedic treatments aim to restore balance, enhancing physical mobility, stabilising digestion, and promoting overall well-being.

4. Improves eyesight:

In Ayurvedic massage, improving eyesight is often associated with the balancing of internal systems and enhanced overall wellness. The belief is that massaging certain points on the body can stimulate nerve connections and improve circulation, potentially having a positive effect on eye health. The head, neck, and foot massages in particular are thought to benefit the eyes due to their close nerve connections. However, it's important to note that while Ayurveda offers holistic wellness practices, improvements in eyesight should also be supported by conventional eye care methods.

5. Strengthens the body:

Ayurvedic massage, using oils, enhances body circulation and the flow of vital life fluids, including pranic energy. This process not only revitalizes the body's energy but also aids in detoxifying by expelling toxins and replenishing cells with nutrients and prana. Such techniques strengthen the body and immune system, thereby boosting stamina and vitality.

6. Increases longevity:

Ayurvedic massage transcends mere relaxation, forging an electrochemical harmony within the body. This majestic ritual bolsters the immune system and purges toxins, potentially extending longevity. It confronts the modern scourges of stress and anxiety, countering their acidic toll on our bodies. The ancient wisdom of balancing the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, is harnessed to rejuvenate life's essence. Infused with potent herbs and spices, the sacred oils penetrate deeply, nourishing the body and soul, and awakening an inner vitality that resonates with the rhythms of the earth.

7. Gives you wonderful sleep and dreams:

Ayurvedic massage, particularly head massage, is renowned for its sleep-inducing qualities. Gentle techniques like rubbing, tapping, and pressing, especially on the feet, are known to calm the mind. This makes it an ideal remedy for those struggling with insomnia or disrupted sleep patterns, providing a natural and soothing approach to encourage deeper and more restful sleep.

8. Enhances skin resilience and health:

The Ayurvedic oil massage is an enchanting ritual that transforms the skin into a canvas of smoothness and radiance. This luxurious treatment deeply nourishes, banishing the dryness that heralds an imbalance in Vata. Particularly for those with Vata-dominant constitutions, characterized by dry, rough skin, this oil massage is not just a luxury but a necessity. It transcends mere skincare; as the oils penetrate, they harmonise with the body's natural rhythms, particularly for Vata types, who absorb these life-giving elixirs more profoundly than others. This is an epic journey of rejuvenation, not just for the skin, but for the body's very essence.

9. Boosts immunity against illness and disease:

Applying measured pressure through massage enhances the body's disease resistance. It stimulates antibody production, bolstering the seven vital tissues, or 'dhatus', which in turn strengthens the immune system and nerves. This process not only aids in physical health but also builds mental resilience, equipping one to better handle life's challenges and stresses.

10. Alleviates discomfort from wind and mucous imbalances:

Ayurvedic oil massage is recognised as an effective treatment for conditions stemming from imbalances in vata and kapha doshas. This traditional approach is particularly helpful in calming ailments associated with these elemental forces in the body.
